Golda Harper Anderson visited Korea as a United Presbyterian missionary to volunteer in 1969. She was officially certified as a hygienist and nutritionist in the United States. Director Howard Moffett invited Anderson, who retired from his current position, to the hospital to manage the nutrition of patients admitted to Dongsan Christian Hospital.
Anderson was in charge of nutritional management of meals provided to patients at Dongsan Christian Hospital and taught Korean nutritionists how to manage nutrition for rapid recovery and health care of patients. She returned to the United States after six years of service.
